French Roast Coffees

Dark roasted coffees are sometimes roasted past the point at which the full flavors of the beans are brought out.  This often     produces bitterness. There are varying degrees of dark roasts      including Vienna Roast, Continental Roast, French Roast, New     Orleans Roast, Espresso, and Italian Roast. We offer 14 French    Roasted Coffees which merely means that they  have been            roasted longer & darker than our regular roast. French Roasted  coffees have nothing to do with France, french toast,
french          fries, or french kissing.   People generally believe that a darker     roast will create "stronger" coffee. More often  the end result is  more bitter coffee.  For stronger coffee the best method is to simply add more grounds while brewing.      
 We generally don’t recommend French Roasted  Coffees as they tend to be bitter.
 However, to Starbucks devotees or those who prefer darker, more bitter coffee, we have just what you are looking for.
