Legend has it that the name "Gun powder' was given by a young English clerk who thought the tiny rolled green balls looked like gunpowder. The tea leaves are rolled into tight nuggets. It produces a strong dark brew with a memorable fragrance, slightly bitter but not over powering. Excellent green tea flavor.
